Low Tide Day

Why not join in the fun and pop down to Seaham Hall beach car park. This year we will be back in Seaham with a bang - literally! We will be having a musical theme led by local guitarist Steve Percival with choirs from across the area joining forces with our Finnish friends with some inspirational natural music to inspire the soul. Joining in the fun will be East Durham College drummers! As well as music we will be heading onto the rocky shores with Steve, for our traditional rockpool ramble (around 11.30 a.m.) with our marine expert to see what we can find lurking amongst the rocks and seaweed so don't forget to bring your wellies! Punch and Judy will be on hand to provide some more fun and entertainment and back by popular demand we have Tommy Craggs, chainsaw sculptor to design a coastal themed carving. Face painting, competitions, badge making and much more so come along and join in the fun! (refreshments and toilet facilities are available on site at Tonia's cafe).
